World Fair '07
World Fair '07 is a giant Lego theme park made over the course of a week. Many rides were added through time and this was the final result. I used as many transparent pieces as possible to allow it to glow in the dark.
The Carousel
It's just a small carousel with 4 chairs to sit on. A turntable underneath allows it to spin around like a real carousel. Many of the rides are smaller than they should be minifig scale because of baseplate and brick restrictions. I didn't have a lot of baseplates or bricks at the time so everything had to be small.
Virtual Reality
The VR machine is a Star Wars themed game that allows people to experience virtual reality. It's merely a building with some computers inside, and the letters VR above it.
Haunted House
The haunted house is a corridor of spookiness. The pictures below show the inside of it. There are some spiders, scorpions, and monsters.
Swings of the Century
This ride features a spinning swing ride much like my robot Psyclone that appeared a year later. There are 4 swings suspended by beams and can work just like real Swings of the Century rides.
The Maze
The maze is a small maze with many dead ends and pathways. It has a black and red colour scheme which makes it stand out a lot, and blends the corners together in an optical illusion.
Observation Tower
The observation tower is a small tower that overlooks the theme park. A turntable underneath allows it to spin around to give a full view.
The Games and Stores
There are a few games to play and a few stores. There is a Test-of-Strength, a Water Dunk, and a bathroom along with hat, shirt, and candy stores.
Swan River
Swan River is a small river that has some swans in it to allow for a gentle ride around the park.
